Control and Use of Sensitive Information
In accordance with Federal Law and SEC/FINRA Rules, this notice is intended to disclose to our customers and potential customers the purpose and controls under which we will collect, protect, use and disseminate confidential, nonpublic and personal information.
We are required to collect certain information such as name, address, social security (or FEIN number) and date of birth during the normal course of our business. We will treat this information with the utmost of concern for its use and security. We will not share it with anyone outside our firm for any purpose other than the business reasons for which it was provided to us – unless the disclosure has been authorized by the customer or is permitted by law. Employees are frequently reminded of the importance of strict adherence to this practice and may be subject to discipline or discharge for any violation. In the event we have engaged an outside party to provide services or support to us, we will require them to maintain the same high-level of security and control.

To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal Law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who transacts business with Western Reserve Valuation Services.
Depending on the nature of the business you are transacting with us, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth and other information that will allow us to adequately identify you. We may also ask to see your driver’s license, passport or other government-issued documents. Periodically, we are required to review a list of known or suspected terrorists and report any business relationships to the government.
